Tin Skeleton Woman


Tin folk art, known in Mexico as hojalata, dates back to colonial times. Artists use natural, oxidized and bright aniline paints to create ornaments, mirrors, lanterns and other decorative pieces.

Hand-crafted in Oaxaca, this female ornament swings her full skirt and dances to celebrate the Day of the Dead, Nov 1st and 2nd. 5”H.
